HC 26 Volunteer Application Form - Hopkins Creek 2026

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM 2026

For ten years, Hopkins Creek has been shaped by the people who give their time, energy and care to the event. Volunteers play a huge role in making the weekend possible and we're grateful to everyone who puts their hand up to be involved.

Volunteer applications for Hopkins Creek 2026 are now open and will close when positions have been filled, this generally happens fast! Applications after this time will not be looked at and we ask that each person submit only one application.

Before applying, please read the following:

• Volunteers will be rostered for either 1 x 8-hour shift or 2 x 4-hour shifts across the festival weekend. We'll do our best to accommodate preferences, however roles and shift times cannot be guaranteed.

• If offered a volunteer position, you'll be required to confirm your place by purchasing a Hopkins Creek crew shirt ($50). This serves as both your uniform and festival ticket.

• Volunteers are expected to arrive on time, ready for their shift and fit for duty.

• If you fail to attend your allocated shift, arrive unfit for duty, withdraw after the volunteer confirmation deadline or otherwise leave the event short-staffed, a $400 cancellation fee may apply.

• We receive nearly double the number of applications than available positions each year. Taking the time to provide thoughtful and genuine responses will help us understand where you may be the best fit.

• Due to the volume of applications received, we won't be able to provide individual updates throughout the application process. All applicants, whether successful or unsuccessful, will be notified once selections have been finalised.

• Please don't email or message us asking for updates on your application. We'll be in touch with all applicants once selections have been finalised.

A note on the Wellbeing Team:

The Wellbeing Team helps create a safe, calm and welcoming environment throughout the festival. This role is not medical in nature. Instead, you'll be checking in with patrons, supporting people who may need assistance, helping reconnect friends and escalating concerns when required. A good wellbeing volunteer is approachable, observant and comfortable having a conversation with just about anyone.
